Summer axle oil is a high-viscosity petroleum-based lubricant specially designed for summer use in railway transport. It is produced by mixing the residue of direct distillation of oil with a distillate fraction, which provides optimal lubricating properties.
The main purpose is to lubricate axle units of wheel pairs equipped with sliding and rolling bearings operating on liquid lubricant.
